About College of the Canyons

For more than 45 years, College of the Canyons has served as a gateway to higher education, professional training, economic development, and, by extension, the opportunity for residents of the Santa Clarita Valley and beyond. Respected by our colleagues, appreciated by our partners, and supported by our students and community members, for the past 25 years College of the Canyons has been led by its dynamic Chancellor, Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook, and fueled by scores of dedicated faculty, staff, and administrators. It’s because of this leadership that COC has been able to establish a foundation of excellence that will continue to grow, as the institution strives to uphold the ideals of higher education while contributing to our vibrant, thriving community.
